Human and socially deficient in appearance, they must hide their sensitivity, creative intelligence, and psychic abilities from the world that would harm them. Especially if the humans knew they changed the Earth to make it physically tolerable. 

Now, with world’s electricity wiped out, they blend and live with the humans struggling in a wasteland of technology. Stuck with their fear, greed, and delusions.

Sometimes, salvation can be treacherous.
